Is this Contract co-funded by ESF?: Yes
Eligibility Criteria: New Deal
Course Duration: Support is available for the duration of the New Deal Period

Course / Provision Overview:

Mentoring is provided to support customers who would like additional support whilst they are attending New Deal. The first step will be an informal chat via an Out Reach Worker who usually makes contact with Customers who are attending the 2 week Gateway to Work Course. Once the areas of support required are established a link will be made with an appropriate mentor. The Mentor will make arrangements to meet up with the customer at a suitable location. This can be a public place independent from where the training provision is being delivered. The support can help with the following areas; helps increase self confidence and motivation, non-judgemental advice and guidance, 1-1 help and support to overcome negative feelings.
